Kids Snowmobile Tour - Killington & Okemo, VT

Snowmobile Vermont offers a unique experience that provides kids with their own pint-sized snowmobiles so the whole family can get in on the fun. The tour lasts an hour and face shields and helmets are provided at no additional cost. This tour is suggested for kids aged 4-12 years old

Kids’ Snowmobile at Windham Mountain - Windham, NY

Windham Mountain has an oval-shaped track dedicated to their kids’ snowmobiles. Their Arctic Cat snowmobiles can be booked for $15/10 minutes. Riders must be between the ages 6 and 13, and also be less than 120 pounds in weight.

Northern Extremes Snowmobiling- Bartlett, ME

Northern Extremes Snowmobiling’s 50-mile closed-loop system of trails through the White Mountain National Forest is perfect for families to explore. The trails are groomed nightly and are never crowded. All guests must be 5 years of age or older and driver’s must be 16 years of age with a valid driver’s license. 

Sledventures - Lincoln, NH

Beginners to experts will love SledvVenture Snowmobile Tours. Tours will be kept small and geared towards the riders of the group. Passengers must be at least 5 years old and able to sit on the back seat independently and hold onto the handles.

Winter Mountain Coasters

Cranmore Mountain Coaster - North Conway, NH

Adrenaline junkies can get their fix while zooming down the mountain on the Cranmore Mountain Coaster.  Riders get to control their speed - up to 25 miles per hour - as the cold mountain air whips against their cheeks.  

Okemo Winter Mountain Coaster - Okemo, VT

Riders get to control their own speed at Okemo’s Winter Mountain Coaster. Sled-like cars race down the mountainside weaving through the alpine forest. Rides are priced per ride, and multiple ride cards are available at a discounted rate. 

Great Peak Mountain Coaster - Cortland, NY

With 4,300 feet of pure excitement, this gravity-fed mountain coaster provides thrills year-round. Riders must be aged 3 and older and at least 38” tall. Great Peak Mountain also offers snow tubing and snowshoe rentals, as well as cross-country ski rentals.

Fat Biking and Snow Biking in New England

Mt Washington Fatbikes - Gorham, NH

The 5 inch wheels on Fatbikes allow riders to float on the snow instead of sinking into it. Great for kids 6 and up, Mt Washington Fatbikes are a great way to explore the mountain. Fatbikes can be rented for a two a hour windows and reservations are recommended. Rental includes a helmet, but a trail pass will have to be purchased. 

Bretton Woods Winter Fat Biking - Bretton Woods, NH

The Omni Mount Washington Resort has trails for all abilities of riders starting at the Bretton Woods Nordic Center. Fatbikes are available on a first come first serve basis and helmets are included in the cost of rentals.  The resort offers bikes for both adults and children. 

SnowGo at Loon - Lincoln, NH

Snow-Go combines the ease of riding a bicycle with the downhill thrill of skiing. Snow-Go rentals are available on Weekends and holidays for riders aged 13 and up. Each rental includes a complimentary tour to get to know the Snow-Go. 

SnowGo At Sugarloaf - Carrabassett Valley, ME

Sugarloaf Mountain has 11 SnowGo bikes for adventurers to rent. All riders must take a 30-45 minute lesson before being allowed on the mountain. You must be at least 5 feet tall to ride a SnowGo at Sugarloaf.

Alpine Adventure’s Winter Zipline Tour - Lincoln, NH

Soar above the mountains at Alipine Adventure’s Winter Zipline Tour. This tour is a compilation of 5 of Alpine Adventure’s most popular Zip Lines ranging in a variety of heights in distances. The tour takes around 2-3 hours, and riders must be at least 70 lbs. 

Camden Snow Bowl Toboggan Chute - Camden, ME

The Jack Williams Toboggan Chute was constructed in 1936 and has been creating winter memories ever since. Tobaggan chutes are typically wooden troughs that are flooded with ice creating ideal sliding conditions. Camden Snow Bowl is typically open on the weekends, tickets are $10/hour and include a toboggan. Children must be at least 42 inches tall to ride a toboggan down the chute.

Lake Placid Toboggan Chute - Lake Placid, NY

Take a ride down Lake Placid’s Toboggan Chute and go gliding across a frozen Mirror Lake. This thrilling ride is only open when weather conditions allow, but is typically open January through February. Admission is $15 for adults, $10 for kids, and includes a toboggan.
