1. Abma’s Farm – Wyckoff
The all-inclusive party package at Abma’s is a dream for busy parents—the cost covers invitations, food, homemade cupcakes, party supplies, and party favors. During the fall season, partygoers can take a hayride out to the pumpkin patch to pick their own pumpkin, while May through September barnyard birthday parties include pony rides and farm animals.
2. Allaire Community Farm – Wall Township
Make your child's birthday party one to remember at Allaire, a working nonprofit farm dedicated to rescuing animals. Open year-round, your birthday child and guests will feel like real farmers while feeding the animals, gathering eggs in the hen house, and milking the mechanical cow. You can bring your own food and cake to this birthday party spot at no extra charge. Parties are held at designated times on Saturdays and Sundays.

3. Alstede Farms – Chester
The 600-acre Alstede Farms is primed for birthday fun. The Pick Your Own Fruit party is available mid-May through the end of October and includes a hay ride and seasonal fruit or pumpkin picking. The Pot-a-Plant party package is perfect for spring flings. Weekend parties are 3 hours long, but weekday party packages are shorter—just 90 minutes—and more budget-friendly, with animal feedings and select farm activities. You can also customize your party with an extensive menu of add-ons.
4. Oasis Family Farms – Robbinsville
Enjoy a private wagon ride around the farm during your 2-hour birthday party at Oasis Farms. After the ride, kids can enjoy all-day access to the farm’s Fun Zone, complete with a biplane, spiderweb crawl, tunnel slide, sandboxes, tire swings, and more. No outside food is permitted except for cake or cupcakes. There’s a $50 food minimum, but drinks are included in your party package. Parties are held on Saturdays and Sundays only.

The Little Farmer Birthday Party Package at Ort Farms is perfect for kids who enjoy spending time on the farm.
5. Ort Farms – Long Valley
Fall activities are plentiful at Ort Farms’ fall birthday parties, including a corn maze, hay ride, pumpkin picking, a cow train, and face painting. Parties are 2 hours and include the use of a private tent and picnic tables. Guests can munch on delicious apple cider donuts from the farm, or you can bring in your own food.
6. Heaven Hill Farm – Vernon
The greenhouse at Heaven Hill Farm makes the perfect venue for your child’s next birthday party. You can reserve just the amount of tables you need and enjoy the space for up to 3 hours. Parties are held at select times on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Face painting, sand art, gem mining, pony rides, and carnival rides are available for an additional fee.

7. Terhune Orchards – Princeton
Outdoor adventurers have a good time celebrating birthdays at Terhune Orchards. Kids can party with the animals at the barnyard and enjoy the play area with pedal tractors and climbing structures. You have the option to add on a pony (or unicorn!) ride, seasonal pumpkin picking, and additional food beyond the apple cider and donuts that are served to guests in the tented party area. Weekday parties are available and no birthday parties are held on busy fall weekends from mid-September through the end of October.
8. Johnson’s Corner Farm – Medford
Johnson’s Corner Farm is a u-pick haven bursting with ripe fruit and veggies all year long. All parties run for 2 1/2 hours, and kids get their very own hayride ride to the fields to pick whatever is in season. After picking, the Discovery Barnyard Playground is open with pedal go-carts, climbing rocks, sandboxes, and other play structures to climb and explore. You can bring your own food and decorate the tented picnic area reserved for birthday parties at this New Jersey farm.

9. Von Thun Farms — South Brunswick and Washington
Birthday party packages at Von Thun provide wristbands for 20 guests and the birthday child, granting all-day access to the farm's activity area. Activities include hayrides, a corn maze, farm animals, pedal karts, barnyard bouncers, and so much more. With two locations in South Brunswick and Washington, you have the option to pick which farm works best for you. Depending on whether you visit in the spring (both locations), summer (Washington only), or fall (both locations) you can enjoy add-ons like berry picking, the sunflower trail, and apple and pumpkin picking.
10. Brookhollow’s Barnyard – Boonton
If you have an animal lover on your hands, you’ll definitely want to book their birthday party at Brookhollow’s Barnyard. This sweet petting zoo provides guests with buckets of shaved carrots to feed the many animals who call Brookhollow home. This is the place to go big, as it can accommodate up to 80 guests. Partygoers also have access to the train shed, sandboxes, corn cabin, Lego room, and other play areas around the farm. You can bring your own food and decorations, plus add on a tractor or train ride for even more fun.
