Disney Brings Beauty and the Beast Fun to a New Family Cruise
Looking for the ultimate princess getaway for your little...well...princess or prince? Adventures by Disney has just announced its 2018 cruising schedule, and fans of Beauty and the Beast take note: A series of sailings along Europe's Rhine river celebrates the film, its stars, and even its backdrops.

Visit the town of Riquewihr that inspired the film.
Six Rhine river cruises are on the schedule. The eight-day, seven-night adventures take place aboard AmaWaterways cruise ships, all designed with families in mind. From connecting staterooms and suites to reimagined common areas that allow for kid-friendly programming, Disney puts its touch on every detail.
The cruises give visitors a tour of France, Switzerland, Germany, and the Netherlands, and daily excursions let families enjoy a variety of European experiences from touring Holland's iconic windmills to exploring old-time Strasbourg on a canoe trip or horseback ride.

The real fun for Disney fans is likely the Beauty and the Beast tie ins. You'll be asked to "be our guest" for a "Tale as Old as Time" themed sit-down dinner, and evenings aboard the ship will be filled with viewings of both versions of the film: the 1991 animated classic and the live-action version hitting theaters Friday, March 17. You can belt your heart out with a Beauty and the Beast-themed karaoke night and even disembark the ship to tour the village of Riquewihr, which inspired Belle's provincial home in the franchise.
Beyond the Beauty and the Beast fun, Adventures by Disney also offers cruises along the Danube River, taking guests on a tour of Germany, Austria, Slovakia, and Hungary, where locales from the Sound of Music are a can't-miss highlight.
If you're looking for the royal treatment for just Mom and Dad, consider the adult-only Danube River Oktoberfest Cruise or the Food & Wine Rhine River Cruise, with exclusive food experiences on and off the ship inspired by the success of Disney's food and wine festivals at Epcot Center and California Adventure.
Whether you sail as a family, or couple, Adventures by Disney cruises aim to provide plenty of choices in daily itineraries.

Bookings are now open. Prices for the all-inclusive trips start at $3,829 for children and $4,289 for adults. Special discounts on 2018 cruises are available through May 1, 2017. Take note, however, most cruises have a minimum age of 4 years old and are recommended for kids ages of 8 and up, so they can easily participate in all the activities.
