Headfirst Multi-Sport Camp Comes to Brookline this Summer
After spending a cold and snowy winter indoors, it’s finally time for the kids to get outside and play. Summertime sports offer a great way to do just that, and while there are plenty of camps dedicated to one particular interest, some kids want to explore a variety of sports throughout the season. Boston kids have that option thanks to our sponsor Headfirst Multi-Sport Camp, which is coming to Brookline for the first time this summer.
Headfirst provides a mix of six sports each week in a fun and engaging atmosphere. The award-winning camp is designed for kids from kindergarten to 7th grade of all ability and experience levels. Whether campers want to strengthen their skills in a particular sport or experience it for the first time, everyone feels comfortable in Headfirst’s "effort over results” atmosphere. Sound interesting? Read on for an exclusive offer for Mommy Poppins readers.

Headfirst Multi-Sport Camp approaches sports in a stress-free way, so kids can feel comfortable participating no matter what their skill level. This fun and action-packed environment combines a mix of team sports with water play (to help the kids cool off in the heat), as well as a rock climbing wall and the Multi-Sport Olympics. Each week, campers play up to six sports, including:
- Street hockey
- Flag football
- Basketball
- Soccer
- Team handball
- Water play (slides, sprinklers, etc.)
The program at Headfirst Camps centers on fair play, sportsmanship and participation. As kids improve their own skills in each sport, they also learn to work together as a team and become more confident leaders both on and off the field. Every morning begins with a team meeting to discuss topics such as sportsmanship, maintaining a healthy mind and body, and being a team player. There are also weekly themes that engage campers in fun activities and friendly competition, including “March” Madness, Rivalry Week, World Cup and more.
Of course, an outstanding staff is a necessity at any camp, which is why Headfirst is flying in a Camp Director who is an elementary physical education teacher during the year, with more than 20 years camp experience, to run the Brookline camp this summer.
Headfirst offers extended day options, as well as healthy hot and cold lunch options, at an additional cost. Located on the beautiful grounds of Hellenic College Holy Cross, Headfirst is in Brookline for four weeks only this summer, starting July 13th. Mommy Poppins readers can enjoy a 25 percent discount on camp tuition, including extended day. To get the discount, simply enter the code “mompop25” at checkout.
