Family-Friendly Events in the East End, Hamptons and North Fork, June 21-22

The kids are almost done with school, and this coming weekend is a great time to treat them to a special event or two on the East End for all their hard work throughout the year. There are a number of family-friendly events happening in the area, and we;ve compiled our top 10 for the weekend.

Bridgehampton Museum Annual Antique Show, Bridgehampton
Take the kids on a hunt for antiques at the annual Bridgehampton Museum Antique Show, which will be open on Saturday from 8am to 5pm and on Sunday from 10am to 5pm. The show will feature over 75 antique dealers selling furniture, jewelry, paintings and collectibles. Cost: $5 per person

Saturday, June 21

Antique Fair, Cutchogue
The Old Town Arts and Crafts Guild is hosting a antique fair and country bake sale that will be sure to delight from 8:00am to 4pm at 28625 Main Road. Cost: Free admission

Little Flower Yard Sale, Riverhead
Find treasures at the annual Little Flower Yard Sale, which starts at 11am and runs until 5pm. You will be helping a great cause by attending since all of the funds raised will go toward a nature trail at the Little Flower facility. The yard sale will be held at 2450 North Wading River Road. Cost: Free admission

Kids Create, Bridgehampton
Bring the kids to the Children's Museum of the East End from 10am to noon, when they can play at a sewing table, explore the science of hydraulics, or engineer their own race car to take for a test spin on different tracks. Cost: Free for members; $10 for non-members (includes museum admission)

Train a Seal, Kiss a Sea Lion at the Long Island AquariumRiverhead
Bring the kids to the Long Island Aquarium for a fun-filled day of behind-the-scenes action. During the event, which runs from 10:15am to 2:15pm, kids will be able to get up close and personal with some of the creatures that call the aquarium home. Cost: $155 per person.

Science Saturday at the Long Island Science Center, Riverhead
Kids can learn and play at the Long Island Science Center with over 30 hands-on exhibits. The center is open from 11am to 4pm. Cost: $5 per person.

Summer Breeze & Pinwheel, Amagansett
The kids will love making a pinwheel that will spin in the summer breeze. They can do just that from 3:30pm to 4:40pm at the Amagansett Free Library, located at 215 Main Street. Aside from making a pinwheel, the kids can hear a story. Cost: Free

Backpack Adventure, Southampton
Children ages 5-7 can take a backpack adventure with SoFo and learn about the life of a dying tree through a hands-on tour, starting at 10am. Pre-registration is required and can be made by calling 631-537-9735. Cost: $7 for adults, $5 for children (includes admission to the SoFo Museum).

Sunday, June 22

Southampton Antique Fair, Southampton
Explore the Southampton Antique Fair at the Rogers Mansion, located at 17 Meeting House Lane, between 9am and 3pm. The event will feature antiques, furniture, jewelry, vintage clothing, glass, ceramics, artwork, collectable and much more. Cost: $4 adults, children are free

Fiesta of the Arts, East Hampton
Children of all ages are invited to Guild Hall, located at 158 Main Street, for a Fiesta of the Arts event, which celebrates the Latin American culture of the East End. During the event, which will run between 2pm and 4pm, families can enjoy music, food, art, crafts and much more. Cost: Free
