Check Out These Amazing Lego Sculptures in Madison Square Park Through Columbus Day
We already highlighted the grand opening festivities of the new flagship Lego Store in the Flatiron District in our October Go List and our Columbus Day weekend event picks post. But when we happened to stroll by these super-cool life-size Lego sculptures in Madison Square Park, we just had to share. Check out these cool photos!
If you go to any of this holiday weekend's Lego builds in Madison Square Park, share your pictures on our Facebook page, or tag @mommypoppins on Twitter or Instagram. I think we're all looking forward to watching the kids have fun helping the Lego master builders work!
OUR LATEST VIDEOS
In honor of the grand opening of the new Lego Store on 23rd Street and Fifth Avenue, the brand is hosting hands-on building fun in nearby Madison Square Park through Columbus Day. Kids can help Lego master builders create a 20-foot tall replica of the Statue of Liberty. All kids who participate will get a certificate, but go early because we expect this event to be mobbed, and once the statue is done, it's done. Of course, you can still enjoy checking out the beautiful works of Lego art like the ones above in person. They'll be on view through Monday.
