New moms often look for opportunities to get their babies out of the house and around other moms. Mommy and me classes are fantastic ways to spend quality time with babies while meeting other moms and children in Orlando. And these Orlando baby classes aren't just for moms -- dads, grandparents, aunts, nannies, and other caregivers can join in on the fun, too! We’ve rounded up some of the best parent-baby classes in Orlando and central Florida.

Music and Art Classes for Babies in Orlando

Bushel & Peck Studio – Winter Park

Bushel & Peck Studio offers a variety of weekly Musikgarten music classes for newborns through age 6. Parents and their children will sing, dance, chant, and play simple instruments. Classes are 45 minutes long.

Grow & Sing Studios – Multiple Locations

Grow & Sing Studios offers Kindermusik and a variety of parent-participation music classes starting from newborns up to age 7. Babies will be introduced to a variety of music, instruments, dance, and quality together time. Classes are held once per week and last 45 minutes.

Seminole County Music Together – Multiple Locations

With locations throughout Seminole and Orange counties, kids ages birth through 5 years (with their adults) enjoy a research-based curriculum and music classes with songs, instruments, and movement activities. Classes are 45 minutes long.

Little Music Makers - Orlando

Run through AdventHealth for Women, the Little Music Makers class is an early childhood music group that promotes developmental milestones in areas like language, cognition, and movement through music. Board-certified music therapists lead groups, divided by ages (0-6 months; 6-12 months; 12-18 months; and 18-24 months). Classes are $12 per child ($6 per sibling).

Orlando Mommy & Me Dance and Gymnastics Classes

A Kids Gym – Oviedo

This Oviedo gymnastics facility offers a Muscle Minds parent-child program for ages 4 months through 3.5 years. This movement class is designed to help build motor functions, coordination, and social skills. Classes are 45 minutes long and run during the school year.

Orlando Metro Gymnastics - Multiple Locations

Mommy and Me classes are for parents to participate in gymnastics with their little ones.  This class is from walking to 2 years old and is designed to stimulate children’s intellects, develop their motor skills and enhance their hand-eye coordination.  Come jump, play, sing, laugh with your child and watch them grow before your eyes!

Legacy Gymnastics – Maitland

Giggling Guppies at Legacy Gymnastics is a parent-child gymnastics class for walking toddlers up to age 2. This structured toddler class helps tots build motor skills and learn basic gymnastics.

The Little Gym – Ocoee and Lake Nona

The Little Gym offers parent and child classes for ages 4 months to 3 years old. Parents can sign up for a free trial class.

My Gym – Multiple Locations

With several locations around Central Florida, My Gym provides parent-participation classes for babies and toddlers from 6 months to 3.5 years. Youngsters in these baby and toddler classes begin to learn skills such as balancing, tumbling, agility, and more.

Orlando Family Stage Baby & Me – Orlando

Shake up story time with sensory play! Each class has a unique theme and includes music, expressive movement, and dramatic play between you and your baby (0-24 months), as well as with other parent and child pairs.

OutGrown – Multiple Locations

Parents of babies and young children in Orlando can join other families in the community on local kid-friendly hikes. Branch members can both attend and host hikes.

Storytime at the Zoo – Sanford

The Central Florida Zoo offers a monthly storytime event, located in the Discovery Courtyard outside the zoo entrance. After storytime, kids can meet one of the zoo’s animal ambassadors. This free program is presented by Orange County Library System, and is designed for preschool ages and younger. Zoo admission is not included or required to attend this event.

Orlando Sign Language Classes for Babies

iLingo Academy - Orlando

Baby sign language classes offer the ability for parents to communication with infants. These baby sign language classes develop language skills which lead to speaking earlier and a larger vocabulary. In addition to baby sign language, Baby & Me classes include yoga, art, and more.

Orange County Library Systems - Multiple Locations

Visit one of Orange County Library Systems' branches to attend various mommy and me and parent-baby classes, including Family Storytime; Caregive Connect: Stay and Play; Tiny Tales; and more. Visit individual branch sites to learn more about class times, attendance, and more.
