Find Spring Inside a Giant Dome

indooractivities.jpgAs part of a promotion for their allergy medicine, a pharmaceutical company is putting up a giant geodesic dome in Central Park. Inside the dome they promise to provide...Spring. Flowers and grass and warmth. It sounds rather nice.

In addition, in the 8,100 square foot dome there will be live music daily, hot chocolate (to warm you up as you enter) and free activities, including a carousel, gardening workshops and interactive golf games. I'm not a big fan of pharma advertising, but this sounds like a quirky, fun, and FREE indoor winter activity that could make a big splash with the kids. Just try not to leave with your kids on a prescription. The Spring Wondland Dome will be open from Thursday, January 24th through Sunday, January 28th 2008 from 10AM to 4PM. It's located just inside Central Park at 72nd Street and 5th Avenue at the Rumsey Playfield.
