One of the things I love about living in NYC is the ability to walk out the door and stumble upon some really cool free stuff to do with kids that you might never expect.
Today and Friday, for instance,
if you happen to be walking down Warren Street in Tribeca, you might stumble upon a free dance performance being shown in the storefront window of the Church Street School of Music and Art.
"CYCLE" RASA DANCE
FREE and open to the public
Wednesday February 27th and Friday 29th, 2008
Wednesday : 1pm, 2:30pm ,4pm
(Duration of each show: 30 min)

Or if you happen to be hanging out at the Epiphany Branch of the NYPL on 23rd St and Second Avenue on Thursday at 4pm, you might just be lucky enough to catch the essentially unpublicized multi-media performance of Gustafer Yellowgold. If you don't know about this rising children's music and animation phenomena read more about it on the website. Or buy Gustafer Yellowgold's DVD on Amazon.
