Explore the fundamentals of species identification through physical characteristics and calls while traversing the trails in search of birds that inhabit the gardens and grounds both seasonally and year-round.

The program includes opportunities to practice observation skills, engage the senses, and participate in bird-inspired games. Binoculars and field guides will be provided, though attendees can bring personal birding supplies. As the program takes place entirely outdoors, appropriate attire for the weather is recommended.

Please note this class is for children with their adult companions.
