Mother's Day falls on Sunday, May 10, this year, and despite NYC's shelter-in-place order, there are still plenty of ways to show our moms how much they mean to us. This is an especially apropos time to celebrate mothers, as many are selflessly serving in our communities as essential workers, others are working from home while serving as teachers, and cooking and cleaning around the clock. With that in mind, we've rounded up 15 restaurants throughout the city offering Mother's Day brunch or dinner. Many spots are also prepping cocktails for takeout or delivery, so don't forget to add on a mimosa (or two).

Let mom stay in her PJs and lounge in bed while she enjoys one of these delicious Mother's Day meals, made even tastier because she didn't have to prepare it herself. Encourage the kids to add a personal flair to the celebration, too, with one of these DIY Mother's Day card ideas.

1. Stone Park Cafe — Park Slope, Brooklyn

Local brunch hot-spot Stone Park Cafe offers a special spring brunch menu with sweet options like French toast served with berry compote and maple syrup, or a savory chef's omelet with roasted garlic, spinach, house-made sausage, and cheddar. 2. Butterfield Market – Upper East Side

Choose from family-style meals for two or four people filled with treats for brunch or dinner. Mom can enjoy one of two brunch packages, with selections ranging from a classic NY bagel spread to quiche, salmon canapes, a chocolate babka, and more. Add-ons include fresh flowers, bloody mary mixers, vodka, prosecco, champagne, or fresh peach juice for bellinis. 3. Superfine — Dumbo, Brooklyn

Dumbo favorite Superfine is serving a special Mother's Day brunch from 11am-8pm including roasted chicken breast enchiladas and shrimp tacos. Don't forget to add-on a tasty beverage like house blend coffee or a spicy bloody mary. Don't worry: A mild mix can be shaken and served, too.
