We were invited to check out the brand-new Taroko Sports in Katy, and it was a hit—literally—and is definitely one to add to our list of Coolest Indoor Activities for Houston Teens. Check out our Instagram reel for video of our visit.

Batting cages at Taroko Sports

Originally from Taiwan, Taroko Sports is a top baseball entertainment venue, and this marks its first location in the U.S. The facility offers state-of-the-art batting cages, including HitTrax technology for real-time analytics, a pitching mound, and plenty of off-the-field fun, like arcade games, electronic darts, and miniature bowling. It's a great spot for the whole family, but it's especially perfect for teens and tweens and aspiring Astros looking for Indoor Batting Cages.

Perfect your swing and then play some games at Taroko Sports. 

Guests can fuel up with classic game-time snacks, quick bites, and ice-cold beverages while enjoying all the action. Activities operate with a reloadable game card, making it easy to keep the fun going.

Know before you go to Taroko Sports:

  •  Batting and pitching equipment (bats, helmets, etc.) are provided, but guests can bring their own.
  • An online waiver is required before using the batting cages.
  • Birthday parties and private events are available for booking.
