June 20 - Dirt Discovery:
This is an exploration of the magic beneath our feet: soil! Discover how soil helps plants grow, supports living creatures, and plays an important role in nature. Little Learners will dive into hands-on activities, from creating beautiful mud paintings to shaping seed balls that will bring new life to the earth. This is a wonderful opportunity to spark curiosity, embrace a little mess, and connect with nature in a creative and playful way. Arrive ready to dig, create, and explore the wonders of dirt through fun, hands-on discovery and make forever memories with your little ones!

July 11 - Green Thumbs
Kick things off by reading an exciting gardening book, learning all about the wonders of growing food. Then, get your hands dirty as you help refresh the veggie garden at the education center, giving the plants some much-needed love. Next, tap into creativity and make a gardening-inspired craft to take home. And to top it all off, you’ll also get to bring home your very own plant to care for and watch grow.

More about the Little Learner Series
Parks are for everyone – even the littlest learners. Join this group twice a month for a brand-new experience: Every other week, it introduces children ages 2 – 5 to the natural world around them and engage them and their parents. Tackle one theme at a time with a nature story, craft, and open play outside! This series will take place on Friday mornings from 10 – 11am unless otherwise noted.
