From Mardi Gras to the Houston Rodeo, February is packed with activities for kids, indoors and outside. Don’t miss our favorite free and fun things to do in Houston with kids this month.

Looking for free, family fun this February? Check out free events like the Lunar New 2024 Celebration at Asia Society Texas, Family Gras at Mardi Gras Galveston, or the Houston Arboretum Archeology Day. There are also can't-miss events this month, including the kick-off of the Houston Rodeo and Livestock Show, where you can enjoy concerts, shopping, educational exhibits, carnival, dining, and, of course, the rodeo!

These are just a few of our favorite things to do in Houston this February, and we're adding more events to the Houston Events Calendar daily.
