This weekend we have loads of Halloween and Fall events. So much so that we have categorized the Fall Festivals into their own post. If you are interested in the numerous Halloween themed train rides they are listed as well. This is the last weekend of the CT Renaissance Faire so don't miss out if you've been wanting to go. Scarecrow making, roller skating, haunted graveyards, Halloween Musicals, it's all happening this weekend! If apple picking is on your agenda we've got you covered. Connecticut Renaissance Faire 2011 Hebron - LAST WEEKEND
There's plenty of games, parades and dancing for kids of all ages at this year's Renaissance Festival in CT. Better yet, so I'm told, dress up the family as their favorite princess or knight to get the full experience. Kids can even watch a jousting match and get knighted.

Come assemble your very own Fall friend. They have everything you need from hay to clothing and accessories! There will be face-painting and glitter tattoos too.
Frankenstein: The Halloween Hi-Jinks Musical Comedy
Downtown Cabaret Theater, Bridgeport
Dracula and Frankenstein and some school girls come together in crazy encounters! 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays through November 6.
Haunted Graveyard at Lake Compounce, Bristol
The entire park will be transformed to frighten and delight guests. Gates open at 5pm, park rides operate starting at 5pm and the Haunted Graveyard opens at dusk every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evening in October. The Haunted Graveyard is rated PG for Pretty Ghoulish and is not intended for small children or adults who may be frightened easily. Lake Compounce will also be operating 17 thrill rides including Boulder Dash, Wildcat, Down Time, and Zoomerang.
45th Annual Witches Dungeon Halloween Classic Movies Museum 2011 Bristol
The Graveyard Of Classic Ghouls sets the atmosphere as you enter the dungeon where accurate life-size figures of vintage movie chillers. Many Hollywood props are on display and vintage films may be shown outdoors, weather permitting. The Museum is not recommended for children under age 7. Be sure to dress warmly. There may be a wait in line.

Roller Skating Lessons for Kids, Vernon
Saturday mornings are reserved for the kids. Bring your little ones to the Kids Learn to Skate Course 9:00 AM - 12:00 Noon. This time includes a one hour class and admission/skate rental for the public skate session immediately following. Pre-registration required.
