All right.  Fourth of July was a tad early to be seeing Christmas decorations.  But once Thanksgiving has come and gone, its time to bring on the holiday decor, Connecticut!  If holiday spirit is what you’re seeking, check out some of these super festive streets in Fairfield County.  Creative store window displays, twinkling street lamps and beautifully lit trees can brighten anyone’s mood! Greenwich Avenue, Greenwich, CT
Thank goodness there’s no charge for window shopping!  Toney Greenwich Avenue in Greenwich will wow you with its luxury wares and it’s beautiful store fronts.  Check out Saks and Restoration Hardware, amongst others, if you’re looking for holiday cheer.

Elm Street, New Canaan, CT
Looking for quaint independent stores?  Drive on over to Elm Street in New Canaan.  A personal favorite: Design Solutions.  With their eclectic collection of housewares and toys at all price points, you’re bound to find something for everyone on your list.

Main Street, Ridgefield, CT
Hello, old-fashioned charm!  Main Street in Ridgefield abounds with holiday appeal.  Lovely older homes line Main Street as you near the commercial heart of the town, and once in the middle of town, plenty of shops offer a variety of clothing, art, toys, and home décor.

Rowayton Avenue, Rowayton, CT
Main Street in Rowayton – a neighborhood of greater Norwalk – is beautiful all year round, but no more so than in the holiday season.  The ocean provides a beautiful backdrop to the festive streets, and there’s no better way to enjoy the scenery than by sipping a hot chocolate at Rowayton Market…

Main Street and Route 1, Westport, CT
If you’re looking for one-stop shopping with a view, look no further.  Beautiful Westport overlooks the river and offers a variety of national chains such as Williams-Sonoma, Gap, J Crew, and Patagonia, as well as fabulous independents like Dovecote (my all time favorite!) and HB Home.

No doubt about it…Connecticut is oozing charm this holiday season!
