Easter Egg Hunts for Kids in Chicago and the Suburbs
Remember lining up along the edge of a soccer field covered in Easter eggs, waiting for the moment when your kids could dash out and grab as many plastic orbs as possible in 45 stress-filled seconds? Well, it's that time of year again, and after taking last year off, the Easter egg hunts for kids in Chicago are back!
However, in 2021 events will have limited spaces available (which is a relief, because picturing those crowded fields was a little nerve-racking) and most require advance registration—so be sure to sign up early. There are also plenty of places where you can take pictures with the Easter bunny and other Easter activities, too. For even more events in the week leading up to Easter, check out our list of fun spring break activities.
While we are trying to promote safer activities that occur outdoors or with social distancing guidelines in place, please keep your family and others safe by always wearing a mask and maintaining appropriate distance. If you arrive at an event that appears too crowded try using the “nearby” search feature on our event calendar to find something else to do.
