Spring Egg-Stravaganza
Spring into action at Lincoln Park Zoo family favorite event, Spring Egg-Stravaganza! Make unforgettable memories as kids explore the zoo searching for hidden treasures. With six egg-hunting zones* to choose from, there's something for everyone, catering to different levels of difficulty, accessibility, and terrain. Plus, keep your eyes peeled for potential animal sightings along the way!
*Each zone is given age and accessibility recommendations, and parents and non-egg-hunters must also purchase a ticket to enjoy all the other egg-cellent festivities throughout the morning.
The event includes:
- Egg hunts with up to 12 candy- and/or toy-stuffed eggs per child (ages 1-12)
- Photo-op with the seasonal bunny
- Free rides on the Endangered Species Carousel and Lionel Train Adventure
- A kid-friendly DJ on the South Lawn to keep the kiddos dancing and playing
- A bubble activity
- Animal chats from zoo experts, fun springtime learnings, and craft areas
- Outdoor activities and games
- Musical fun with Mary Macaroni and the Impastas
(Best for ages 1–12) | Free admission for infants under 1 but cannot take part in egg-hunt
Egg Hunts are for guest 12 months to 12 years of age. By purchasing a ticket, you are acknowledging that tickets are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another event.
