As visitors step off the “ice” they can jump into winter dramatic play at the engaging Snowflake Village. Become a baker in the holiday sweet shop, step inside a giant snowman and serve up some hot cocoa, take a turn in the rink “ticket booth” and “warm up” around the rink side “fire” pit as the whole family enjoys cozy winter fun.

The drop-in activities are recommended for ages 3 and up, and will take place 1pm to 3pm each day, free with general admission.

For the opening weekend of Snowflake Sock Skating Nov. 16, LICM has fun activities planned to celebrate the arrival of this traveling exhibit. These are drop-in programs; each takes approximately 10 minutes and is yours to keep.

• Snow Ball Popper: Design your very own pom-pom–tossing snow friend to take home.
