18 Awesome Things To Do in Westchester in June With Kids: Horse Show, Summer Festivals

It's been one long school year, but at last, we head into June with summer on the horizon. To get you across the finish line, we've found plenty of in-person events for Westchester and Hudson Valley families that are well worth space on your calendar. Among the highlights of June are events that honor Pride Month. It's also time to honor dad, so our roundup of the best things to do includes ways to celebrate Father’s Day.

We're excited that long-shuttered venues—like the Westchester Children's Museum—are reopening, and the much-anticipated new Legoland New York is spinning its rides nearby. You can also hit select county beaches, and Playland is slated to open in late June

Our Event Calendar is packed with events, and you'll find top seasonal happenings in our Summer Fun Guide

As always, click through to our listings for full details, and remember popular events—especially now—tend to sell out, so book reservations or buy your tickets in advance.
