Things to Do in Atlanta This Weekend: St. Patrick's Day Parade, Scavenger Hunt
It's mid-March in Atlanta, and that can only mean it's time for St. Patrick's Day celebrations. Headlining this weekend's list of great things to do with kids in the Atlanta area is the city's annual St. Patrick's Day Parade, which begins at 15th and Peachtree streets on Saturday, complete with pipers, marching bands, Irish food, and more.
Elsewhere, families can enjoy a STEM-themed scavenger hunt along Atlanta's BeltLine, a tea party with your little princess in McDonough, children's theater, puppetry, and more.
The parade was, of course, scheduled long before the coronavirus outbreak in the United States, so pay attention to Mommy Poppins and other media alerts for potential cancellations.
Whatever you do this weekend, know that your friends at Mommy Poppins Atlanta will be with you throughout 2020 with updates on the best family happenings in the area. Check our events calendar for the most up-to-date events in Atlanta and beyond, and remember to sign up for our FREE newsletters to receive posts such as this right to your inbox.
