Taking your child with you to vote is a great way to teach them about the importance of active citizenship.

I have fond memories of my father taking me into the voting booth with him, in fact he would actually let me choose who to vote for in smaller races (ok, I realize that is probably illegal but I assume we are past the statute of limitations and it really made a impression on me). The exciting thing about today's primary is it's actually one of those rare moments where the outcome of the Democratic Primary isn't entirely obvious so your vote in that race really counts.
