Pow! Crash! Boom!  Getting comic books for free is...super!

Free Comic Book Day returns to its usual "first Saturday in May" date.

Free comic books are limited to the special editions created especially for this promotion. Many local stores allow readers to take several comics; guidelines vary by store.

Free Comic Book Day is a nationwide event, and kids (small and grown) can stop by any participating comic store to receive their free comic(s). Among the titles available in 2023 are: Animal Crossing & Kirby Manga Mania, The Last Comics on Earth, Smurfs, Spidey & Friends, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Dogman & The League of Misfits, among many others.

The Free Comic Book Day website lists participating stores, as well as creator appearances at selected locations.
