Guilford Riding School
Ride and Splash Camp is for ages 8 to 14 and runs weekly from late June through August. The sessions run from 9am-1pm or from 1pm – 5pm. Camp includes a barn seminar in grooming, tacking, and horse care. Campers "adopt" a horse for the week who they are responsible for grooming and tacking up before each 90 minute riding lesson. The day ends with a cool-off swim in the in-ground pool. For kids who love the idea of riding but have never been on a horse, the farm offers Absolute Beginner weeks. Mini Might Camp is for ages 6 and 7 only and does not include swimming.
