Santa Visits 100 Toys 'R' Us and Babies 'R' Us Stores in 2016
Count your local Toys “R” Us and Babies “R” Us as one more spot where you can score that cute photo with Santa.
The national toy and baby gear retailer teamed up with WorldWide Photography to bring a Santa photo package experience to 100 select stores across the country in 2016, including in New York City, Long Island, New Jersey, Connecticut, Texas, and California.

Ariana Gentry, the retailer's first-ever "president of play," poses with Santa at her local Toys “R” Us.
This is the first time that Toys “R” Us has offered a concentrated national Santa package. In years past, a company representative told us, Santa did visit some of its stores but on “a much smaller scale.”
The event is focused on the photo-op, rather than a lengthy holiday experience, so don’t expect the types of bells and whistles you might find at say a Macy’s Santaland with mini train displays, loads of trees, and elves, but there will some sweet holiday décor and of course, the chance for your child to share their Christmas wish list with the big man.
The best part? You can reserve a specific time to see Santa, so there’s no need to wait in a lengthy line. Reservations, however, are not required, so you can also try just popping in for a quick shoot.
Santa is expected to be in for visiting hours through December 22 at Toys “R” Us locations (daily beginning December 12) and through December 24 at Babies “R” Us. Many of the locations opened for photos beginning in November, though the NYC Union Square Babies “R” Us just opened for Santa sittings on Saturday, December 10.
The price is $29.99, plus tax, and includes a 5x7 photo, two 4x6s, eight wallets, and digital download rights. Not bad.
Find out if a Santa visit is an option at your local store by entering your zip code into this handy store search tool: www.toysrus.com/visitsanta. He will be at 80 Toys “R” Us locations, and 20 Babies “R” Us stores.
