Free Summer Children's Shows in Nassau County

Not all summer entertainment for children has to come with a hefty price tag. In fact, several shows across Nassau County on Long Island are being offered for free. We've rounded up those local concerts--now all parents need to do is grab a lawn chair or picnic blanket and get ready to shimmy, shake and smile with the little ones! And we have a roundup of free Suffolk shows, too.

Animal Tales & Fairy Tales
The Oyster Bay Music Festival invites you to enjoy a concert performance created by student musicians, based on animal tales and fairy tales for the younger set.
July 3 at 1p.m. at Not Just Art, Oyster Bay

Darlene Graham: Singing at the Beach
A fun-filled interactive summer show for audiences of all ages. Sing-along with the happy tunes, “Pool Time,” “Going to the Beach” and “Sunny Day." Youngsters will be invited on stage to play beach bucket drums, wear funny sunglasses, do a summer dance and show off their swimming strokes.
