From Mardi Gras to St. Patrick's Day and the arrival of spring, March is a great time to get out and enjoy Connecticut. Don’t miss our favorite kid-friendly events and activities in Connecticut this month.

March is a good time to start getting the kids used to exploring outside once again. If you're lucky, they might be able to do it without heavy winter parkas and mittens. This month, Connecticut kids can taste fresh, local maple syrup in lots of places, plant succulents in Windsor, or take a hike in Ansonia. Go to the farm and learn the differences between furry and feathery animals or set your GPS to New Britain to learn and create art at the museum. Don't forget to put on your green and head out to the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Hartford, too!
