Plainville Public Library - Plainville
You do not need to be a resident of Plainville to attend story time at the library, the event is open to all. You do need to register for each session in person or by calling the library. Offerings include Baby & Toddler Story Time, Preschool Story Time, Two Much Fun--a story time geared toward two year olds, and PJ Story Time for ages three and up. Does it get any cozier?
West Hartford Public Library - West Hartford
Registration for story times opened on August 28. Newborns are welcome in the youngest story time session and all programs take place at three locations across West Hartford. Register online, in person or via phone.
Avon Public library - Avon
Mother Goose on the Loose, Creative Art, Music & Movement, the choices are pretty varied at APL. Registration (in person or by phone) begins September 8 for residents and September 11 for non-residents.
New Britain Public Library - New Britain
In addition to the usual morning story time selections for the younger set, New Britain Public Library also offers evening Family Story Time for kids up to age 8. Some programs require no registration. Check with the library for further details.
Newington Public Library Newington

Windsor Public Library - Windsor
Weekly story times are the foundation of fun at Windsor Public Library. Themed story times for Halloween and other special days round out a full calendar of programs and events. Registration is required for some programs but all regular story times are drop-in.
Raymond Library- East Hartford
There are loads of activities to choose from at Raymond Library. Mother Goose story time, a Hokey Pokey dance party, Talk Like a Pirate Day, and more. Check out their website for monthly calendars of events.
Enfield Public Library - Enfield
Babies and toddlers are invited to drop in and hear a story, sing songs, and play games. Story times run from age 2-5 with registration required. Drop-in PJ story time is open to kids aged 3-7.
