Kids love vacations, and school break camps keep them entertained during winter and spring school vacations. If you're staying local but need options to keep the little one busy, we have found some amazing school break camps in Boston and the surrounding areas. These camps give Boston kids the chance to learn about the arts, sports, STEAM, and more. And as a bonus, many of these camps also have summer options if your child is having a blast this holiday break!

Looking to go a little wild during school breaks? Looking to go a little wild during school vacation? The Franklin Park Zoo and Stone Zoo offer the perfect opportunity to learn about amazing animals while having a blast. Each day focuses on a different theme, and children will get the opportunity to see animals up close while learning all about them. When school is out, the Y offers programs to keep the kids (grades K-5) busy and engaged. The Framingham location offers a full-day program featuring sports, games, arts, and crafts. In Hopkinton, the full-day program is primarily outdoors, hiking & exploring trails across the 122-acre property. The half-day option is a Kids in the Kitchen theme program. Both YMCA branches also offer summer camps for kiddos ages 3 - grade 10. Camp options include a STEAM Camp, Ninja Sports Camp, and nature-based Stepping Stones Camp. READ MORE

Mass Audubon offers 14 unique nature day camps across the state.
