Have you noticed that October is the new December? Every October weekend is filled with events, festivals and fairs for Atlanta families. With so many options, parents can choose one epic activity per weekend or hit up all of them. (Bonus: Most of these events are free!

Fans of fairs will love the rides, games, and food at the Georgia State Fair and the Cumming Country Fair. Foodies can hit the Atlanta Pizza Festival on October 2 and the Lawrenceville Mac and Cheese Festival on October 23. Then it's on to all things Halloween with Boo at the ZooGoblins in the Garden, and sooooo many Halloween festivals.
