Looking for the best things to do in Atlanta this 4th of July weekend? Here are some family-friendly events and activities to add to your weekend list!

We kick off the first weekend in July with family evening events like Roswell Reels and Wheels (featuring Sing 2!) and Downtown Canton's First Friday, complete with bouncy houses, face painting, and food trucks. Families with Dude Perfect fans (guilty!) will be stoked to know the five dudes are coming to Atlanta's State Farm arena on Saturday, July 2. (Yes, there are still some tickets available.)

The Fourth of July celebrations start heating up on Sunday with Centennial Olympic Park's Look Up, Atlanta event ($10 admission). On Monday, families have lots of July 4th parades, festivals and fireworks to choose from, like ones in Dunwoody and Roswell. Find a complete list of all the 4th of July celebrations and fireworks in Where to See 4th of July Fireworks in Atlanta 2022. And of course, it wouldn't be Fouth of July in Atlanta without the annual AJC Peachtree Road Race, the biggest 10K in the world! Didn't get a number this year? You can still cheer on the runners and experience the tradition on Monday.

We hope all of our awesome Mommy Poppins readers and families have a fun, safe and memorable Fourth of July weekend!
