Celebrate dad with some fun Father's Day events in Orlando this year! Whether your dad is the outdoorsy type, the tech-savvy type, the sporty type, or whatever other type in between, Father's Day is a special moment to let your dude know how much he's appreciated. We've collected some of our favorite activities for Father's Day in Orlando to bring a smile to any dad's face.

Lake Kissimmee is a great Orlando lake for fishing, boating, and kayaking.

Take dad out on a Father's Day excursion to one of the many fishing lakes in Orlando and Central Florida. Lake Jessamine, Lake Virginia, Lake Toho, Harris Chain of Lakes, and many more are teeming with bass, bluegill, and more species.

Visit participating Michaels stores for their Sunday Makebreak craft projects on either Sunday, June 12 or Sunday, June 19 to create a special Father's Day present (coaster and canvas). 

Visit the Library

Head to the Southeast Branch Library on Friday, June 17 for a Daddy and Me event, featuring crafts, songs, and of course, books.

Rock N' Roll Playhouse Father's Day Concert

Head to the Hard Rock Cafe on Saturday, June 18 for a kid-friendly concert featuring songs from Bob Marley performed by the Rock N' Roll Playhouse.

Classic Car Show & Cruise

Dads will love a classic car show every Saturday with hot rods, street rods, and antique cars in Kissimmee's Old Town. The car show starts at 1pm, then cruise through Old Town at 8:30pm.

Whether your dad calls it mini golf, putt putt, miniature golf, or something else, sink a few balls at one of these fun Orlando golf courses. Bonus? Tiny pencils! Or make it a party and visit TopGolf.

SeaWorld Electric Ocean

SeaWorld Orlando is great on any day, but the amusement park's special Electric Ocean event, running until Labor Day weekend, features new shows, glowing sea creatures, a dance party, and a fireworks and fountains display.

Barbecue and Movie

Enzian is hosting a special Father's Day event on Sunday, June 19 with a barbecue buffet and a showing of Airplane (plus dads receive their first select beer for free)! Doors open at 11:30am and the movie starts at 12:30pm.

Dads are always spoiling kiddos with yummy treats, so this Father's Day, take dad out for a scoop. Better yet, splurge for a Father's Day sundae...get it?!

On Sunday, June 19, Publix at Winter Park Village hosts its Publix Aprons: Big and Little Chef class with a Father's Day twist. Parent and child combos will create Southern-style broccoli salad, Big Daddy double bacon cheeseburgers, shrimp and veggie kabobs, and peanut butter cookie shakes.

Take dad to a Father's Day brunch in Orlando for food, fun, and fathers! The Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes, The Boheme at Grand Bohemian Hotel Orlando, and more local restaurants and hotels will love treating your dad like the king he is.
