Looking for the best things to do on Long Island this weekend? Here are some family-friendly events and activities to add to your schedule.

Explore bones and fossils of iconic giants like the towering T-Rex and the majestic Triceratops at the Long Island Children's Museum's newest exhibit, The Dinosaurs: Fossils Exposed. Or head next door to the Cradle of Aviation's Cradle-Con, a comic book extravaganza.

On the North Shore, cultural performances and a lively market are highlights of the free Asian-American Festival in Port Washington. And you can also find high-flying family fun out east at the free Vintage Wings & Wheels event hosted by the Bayport Aerodrome Society.
