This weekend is loaded with amazing opportunities to celebrate wintertime. From seasonal festivals to nature exploration to Lunar New Year events, Philly families are in for some big time fun!

Start off by participating in a cupcake decorating contest at Mt. Holly's Fire & Ice Festival, seeing spectacular ice sculptures at Lambertville/New Hope's Winter Festival, or watching dog sledding demos at Blue Mountain Resort's Winter Fest. Those who love the outdoors can take a winter hike to investigate animal tracks at Green Lane Park. search for feathering friends at Churchville Nature Center, or try cross country skiing at Norristown Farm Park. On the other hand, families seeking fun indoors can check out some of the area's best play places for sibllings with an age gap. Finish up the weekend by celebrating the Year of the Rat at the Independence Seaport Museum or Please Touch Museum.
