3 Best Book Series for Kids
I’ve read a lot of books, but some of the best were in a series. That way, when you’re done, there’s more! A few of my favorites were The Mysterious Benedict Society books by Trenton Lee Stewart, Percy Jackson and The Olympians by Rick Riodan and Anne of Green Gables series by L.M. Montgomery.

The Mysterious Benedict Society books are three books about four very different kids who are joined together by a newspaper ad and some tests to try to stop an evil genius trying to take over the world with a machine that broadcasts messages into your mind! The books take four geeky smart kids and make them seem really cool. It’s the classic story of “Wah ha ha I’m taking over the world,” but twisted to fit modern day technology.
The Percy Jackson Series is five books about Greek mythology, but changed so that it is so believable you might think it was a true story, though of course it’s not. I loved these books because they taught me about Greek mythology, but made it fun at the same time.
The last of my favorites is different from the first two, but good anyway. The Anne of Green Gables series is eight books about the life of an eleven-year-old orphaned girl who is mistakenly sent to a couple’s home instead of a boy. The girl is smart, imaginative and slightly vain. The books talk about everything, from her love life, to her academic career, to her family building. When I read the books it brought me to a different time and place and made me feel like I was there.
I seriously recommend these series to every tween looking for a good book to read. Happy reading!
