Weekday Picks for Connecticut Kids: Faeries, Fairs and Hayrides, October 5-9

Halloween Hayride Spooktacular – Norwalk
This 15-minute family-friendly hayride weaves through a course of more than twenty vignettes, including scenes of popular movie and television characters, traditional holiday settings, and a musical light show.

Tuesday, October 6
Rick Riordan New Book Release Party Chesire
Calling all Percy Jackson and the Heroes of Olympus fans! October 6th is the day that Rick Riordan releases the first book in a brand-new series: Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard, Book 1: The Sword of Summer. After-School Nature Club at Connecticut Audubon – Fairfield
After a quick snack everyone will head out on the trails to run, jump and explore throughout the Larsen Sanctuary, getting plenty of exercise and fresh air.
