Think your kid is the cutest? Well, baby food maker Gerber just opened its annual Gerber Baby photo contest, so it’s time to take your best shot.

Parents can enter newborns to children up to age 4 in the photo search contest that selects a child ambassador for the brand. Simply post a photo of your cutie to Instagram with the hashtag #GerberPhotoSearch2018 between October 1 and October 20 to join in the fun. Remember to make your profile public, so Gerber can see your photo.

The very first Gerber baby contest, held in 1928, resulted in the now iconic baby portrait that adorns much of the brand’s baby food packaging and marketing and advertising materials. The new photo search, started in 2010, won’t put your baby’s face on a jar of pureed carrots but does come with a grand prize of $50,000, as well as the ambassadorship and social media appearances.

Gerber received nearly 150,000 submissions last year before selecting Lucas Warren, a baby with Down syndrome from Georgia who possesses an amazing smile, as its 2018 Gerber Spokesbaby.

“Every year, for our annual photo search, we choose the baby who exemplifies Gerber’s long-standing heritage of recognizing that every baby is a Gerber baby,” said Bill Partyka, Gerber president and CEO, in a statement. “Lucas Warren was the perfect fit to represent the brand... because of his expressiveness and his contagious smile. We’re excited for Lucas to now pass the torch to our 2019 Gerber Spokesbaby by serving as an honorary judge on this year’s panel!”

“We have loved every minute of our experience with Gerber and are so proud and humbled by the love the world has shown our little boy,” Cortney Warren, the little boy's mom, added in the release.

The search is already in progress, so get gramming! And yes, you can enter more than once and submit shots of each of your kids.
