The Perry House – Stratford
Located literally RIGHT off of I-95, this gorgeous home is one of the oldest in Connecticut. With recent renovations, it hosts a new kitchen, bathrooms, and meeting space. With tons of parking, reasonable rates, and unmatched historical character, The Perry House offers the best of all worlds.

The Starkweather House – Trumbull
The Nichols Improvement Association in Trumbull manages this beautiful old lady on its gorgeous grounds. Rental of the Starkweather House space includes a kitchen, tables and chairs, parking next to the awesome Five Pennies Playground and a convenient location, right off the Merritt Parkway.

St. Joseph’s National Catholic Church – Stratford
St. Joseph's in Lordship is known for offering one of the best deals for hall rental in the area. With the The Parish Hall clear of tables and chairs (available for use) you get 2,000 square feet of space for hula hooping, dancing, balloon animals or whatever other fun activity you have planned. A smaller room is also available for rent.

The Pequot Library – Southport
This stunning stone building and its rolling lawn can be the setting for the kiddos next birthday party. The library offers several rooms for rent that accommodate cake and games, in addition to outdoor festivities.

The Scandinavian Club – Fairfield
Just a short, two-block walk from Round Beach in Fairfield, The Scandinavian Club offers beautiful space both indoors and out for kid-friendly birthday parties. The Members Room boasts a fireplace and access to a large deck and flat, backyard area.

Rowayton Community Center – Rowayton
If you are lucky enough to live in the taxing district of Rowayton, in Norwalk, then you have access to a low "residents only" fee when renting "The Moose Room" at the Rowayton Community Center. A huge space with a big moose head on its wall, the district recently made the room available for 2 hour rentals for children's birthday parties. Not a Rowayton resident? Ask about the non-resident rate when you call.

Germania Schwaben Society – Bridgeport
Tucked away on a quiet, residential street, with heaps of charm and parking, the Germania Society offers an outdoor pavilion rental, a large hall for hundreds, and a small room for up to 50, all for reasonable rates.

Belltown Fire Department – Stamford
All proceeds for birthday parties hosted at the Belltown Fire Department go to support this volunteer brigade. So it's a birthday party write-off! In addition, kids parties can include a tour of the fire department. A full commercial kitchen is available.

Noroton Heights Fire Department – Darien
If the weather permits, the firefighters at Noroton will take the kiddos for a spin on the fire truck. Meantime, kids get the chance to brag they hosted their birthday in a real, working firehouse.

Shelton Community Center – Shelton
What do ya' need? A crafts room? A dance studio? A meeting room? A gym? The Shelton Community Center is a beautiful facility that offers room rentals (and green rentals!) for budget prices, even for non-residents.

What liability insurance? What rental fees? Plan for a party inside your own four walls -- or backyard -- and save save save! With the bucks you save, heck: You could hire a caterer or a food truck to handle the eats (and the mess)!
