Whether your kid is the next Bryce Harper or you're just looking to spend some quality time together, batting cages are a great place for some family fun. Some of these cages are even located in fun centers where you can also find mini-golf and arcade games.

For the Serious Athlete

Phield House — Philadelphia

At this indoor facility, batting cages can be reserved for all levels and various speeds. Helmets are required, and an adult must be present to feed a ball into the pitching machine. Guests can also rent turf area for practice for baseball and softball teams, and rent basketball and volleyball courts to hone skills. 


Thoroughbread Baseball Academy — Horsham

Thoroughbread Baseball is a baseball and softball training facility, with batting cages available to book for practice. In addition, indoor space can be rented to allow an entire team to practice.


For Family Fun

Freddy Hill Farms — Lansdale

Freddy Hill Farms is a great place for families to hang out together. With batting cages, mini golf, a farm zoo, and ice cream, you could easily spend a whole day here. Guests must be 7 and up to use the batting cages. Helmets are required. Either bring your own or borrow one for free.


Waltz Golf Farm — Limerick

Waltz Golf Farm features batting cages, a driving range, two different mini golf courses, and an ice cream bar with 21 flavors of ice cream. This is a great place to relax and have fun with the family. The facilities are also available for parties.


Burholme Golf — Philadelphia

Burholme has a golf range, an arcade, mini golf, and, of course, batting cages. All batters must be 6 and up, and guests must be 16 or over to use the very fast baseball cage. Slow-pitch and fast-pitch softball speeds are also offered. Birthday party packages are available.


Grand Slam — Malvern

Grand Slam features five batting cages with adjustable heights and speeds. This fun center also has laser tag, mini golf, basketball, and an arcade. Lessons are available for more serious athletes.


Tee's Golf Center — Conshohocken

With eight batting cages, a driving range, and two mini golf courses, there's plenty to do at Tee's Golf Center. Players can hit speeds from Little League to Major League hardball and from slow-pitch to fast-pitch softball.


The Yard at South Bowl — Philadelphia

Open seasonally, The Yard at South Bowl provides slow and fast-pitch batting cages, two 40-foot bocce courts, shuffleboard, horseshoes, an outdoor arcade with billiards, and a bar for the adults in the group. Bring the whole extended family, and everyone can find something to do. South Bowl is family friendly until 8 pm.
