This summer, you’ll find options like “Aladdin Kids Camp,” where children as young as 5 will rehearse songs, dance numbers, and scenes from Aladdin under the guidance of a professional actor/singer, director, and teaching artist. Does every camp end with a performance?
Most of the summer programs end with a final performance or showcase. For example, select intensives end in industry showcases with scouting talent agents, managers, and casting directors. Meanwhile, many of the musical theater programs culminate in a final showcase at an Off-Broadway theater.
Can kids attend the same week-long camp multiple times?
Yes! Not only does A Class Act NY offer 10 different summer programs to choose from–they never cover the same material twice, so camps can be repeated.
Where is the camp located?
All of the summer programs are hosted at Pearl Studios in Midtown Manhattan. The facility is equipped with Yamaha pianos, mirrors, acoustical curtains, sprung wood floors, and more.
