Long Island Weekend Round-Up of Events July 31st - August 1st

7/29/10 - By Maria

Here we are in the last weekend of July, with no shortage of family-friendly events in sight. Make art you can wear, learn about wildlife, attend a contemporary dance piece, and don't forget the kids! These are events that the whole family can enjoy. Many of them take place on park preserves and historic sites--which makes the whole outing special, as just the setting alone is a reason to make the trip. So get out there and take advantage of everything Long Island has to offer!
