Things to Do for Kids and Families on Long Island December 24 and 25: Skate with Santa, Christmas Shows, & Hanukkah Celebrations

Christmas weekend is finally here! While many will probably be caught up doing last-minute shopping and celebrating the holiday with family, of course, not everyone celebrates Christmas, and even those who do might be looking to get the kids out of the house for a few hours. Don't worry: The Island doesn't shut down for Christmas. We've found lots of activities going on for you and your family.

Barnaby Saves Christmas

In this one-hour children’s production, Barnaby the elf and his reindeer friend set out on a journey to save Christmas, and meet some new friends along the way as they learn the true meaning of Christmas, Hanukkah, and the holiday season.
