Free Summer Bowling Programs For Kids
Watching a movie on the big screen isn't the only way to beat the heat and to entertain the kids in the summer. For those who want to cool off inside, but also want to get the kids' blood pumping a little, take advantage of one of the bowling programs offered to kids this summer in bowling centers throughout Long Island.
OUR LATEST VIDEOS
Kids Bowl Free
Kids Bowl Free entitles children, who are registered in the program, to receive a coupon via email each Sunday for two free games of bowling daily for the following week. Parents who want to bowl alongside their kids purchase a Family Pass for a one time fee, which is valid for the entire summer. A total of four adults can be added to the Family Pass, which is great for parents, grandparents, siblings, and the babysitter. Details for the Family Pass are included in the confirmation email when registered for the program. Participating bowling centers include: Baldwin Bowl, San-Dee Lanes in Malverne, Massapequa Bowl, Bowl Long Island at Patchogue, East Islip Lanes, Port Jeff Bowl, and Larkfield Lanes in East Northport. Each bowling center has program details, dates, and available times posted on the registration page of its website.
AMF Summer Unplugged Bowling For Kids
AMF Bowling Centers across Long Island participate in this program, where kids 15 years of age and under bowl for free all summer long. Registered children get a weekly voucher for two free games per child, per day. There is a nominal fee for shoe rentals. AMF Bowling Centers also gives adults the opportunity to bowl with the kids. Purchase an AMF Summer Pass for a one time fee and up to four family members, 16 years of age and up, bowl two games per day throughout the summer. AMF Bowling Centers are located in Babylon, Bay Shore, Centereach, Commack, East Meadow, Garden City, Plainview, Sayville, Mineola, Syosset, and Wantagh.
300 Kids Club
300 Long Island in Melville offers registered Kids Club participants, 12 years of age and under, two free bowling games per day. 300 Long Island has floor-to-ceiling video screens, video and light shows on its lanes, and a lunch menu that rivals a typical snack bar. A kids menu is also available.
Rockville Centre Lanes and Farmingdale Lanes also offer one free game of bowling per day for kids. More details about these bowling programs are available online.
The rules are pretty consistent at all of the bowling alleys. All bowlers must wear bowling shoes, which are available for rental at an additional cost. The programs are not intended for use with daycare outings, camps, business or club outings, or birthday parties. The offers cannot be combined with any other promotion.
