Weekend Fun for LI Kids: Frozen Sing-a-Long, Movies on the Beach, Peter Pan, July 18-19
Outdoor fun doesn't have to end once the sun sets. Catch a movie on the sand in Long Beach, or at Nickerson Beach. Or join in a Frozen sing-a-long in Massapequa.
If you're on the East End, families can enjoy a puppet show at Goat on a Boat Puppet Theatre or a sunset family nature hike in Amagansett.
If you're craving some theater, head to the Long Island Children's Museum for Peter Pan, or Smithtown for Cinderella's Glass Slipper or Oakdale for Cinderella Kids.

Peter Pan - Garden City. Live performance in the theater at the Long Island Children's Museum.
Cinderella Kids - Oakdale. At CM Performing Arts, this is a live performance.
Kids Fun Run - Westhampton Beach. Kids ages 9 and under can participate.
Help Save Monkey - Sag Harbor. At Goat on a Boat Puppet Theatre, enjoy this live puppet show.
Family Beach Walk - Amagansett. At sunset at Fresh Pond Beach, the whole family can take a nature walk, collecting shells and other items.
Sunday, July 19
Jack and the Beanstalk - Oyster Bay. At Planting Fields, there will be a puppet show. Free.
Movies at Nickerson - Long Beach. Watch the movie, Shark Tale on the beach.
Sensory Garden Sundays - Oyster Bay. At Planting Fields Arboretum, children will have the opportunity to see, taste, touch, smell and listen to the wonders of the sensory garden. Free.
Summer Sundays - Brookhaven. At Brookhaven National Lab, tour the world-class facilities, attend an array of dynamic science talks, and participate in special activities each week on Sundays in the summer. Free.
Polo in the Park - Bethpage. Take in a polo match and some family fun at Bethpage State Park.
Sunday Kids Clubs - East Hampton. Visit Hampton Kids for a mini camp on Sundays. Snacks, arts, lunch, games and bouncy houses.
Family Sundays at the Museum- Roslyn. Families can attend a day of festivities and activities at the Nassau County Museum of Art.
Seatuck Family Nature Club - Islip. These programs will be geared around the current season and include topics such as seasonal birds, tremendous trees and signs of the season. Free.
