If you’re staying in town for the three-day weekend, get ready for lots of local fun for families in Westchester!
First off, as we reported in our February GoList, the circus is in town! With the recent closing of both The Big Apple Circus and Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, the performance by The Royal Hanneford Circus is that much more special. Another hot-ticket item is Disney’s Choo Choo Soul with Genevieve.
Presidents’ Day isn’t just a day off from school—it’s also a fun learning opportunity! Ways to celebrate in true form are Presidents Day Workshop, honoring Abe and George, or take advantage of the National Park Fee-Free Day with a visit to one of the Hyde Park-area attractions that honor FDR.
All month we’re recognizing Black History Month, and one way to celebrate is the Family Studio Art Projects, offering an informative hands-on program in the study of quilting.
