Lunar New Year Festival at Hudson River Museum
Kick off the Year of the Dragon at the Hudson River Museum with traditional Asian arts, crafts, demonstrations, and performances for all ages! Festivities begin with the colorful ceremonial lion dance. Make dragon drums and dragon puppets in family art workshops, and learn the art of origami (paper folding).
Enjoy performances of Chinese folk dances, Indonesian gamelan music and dance, and more, plus enjoy a special showing of The Sky Tonight: The Skylore of China featuring traditional Chinese constellations.
All workshops and performances are free with general admission. Planetarium shows and Glenview historic home tours are ticketed.
