It's the end of July already, but there is plenty of summer left to enjoy. This weekend, the Zoppe Italian Family Circus comes to town and pitches a tent in Westhampton Beach. Enjoy this 170 year old tradition of circus clowns, animal acts, and acrobatics. Looking for a down-home country experience? Bring the family to Riverhead for Country Fest Long Island, or the Annual Barn Dance, which features calling and contra dancing. The Southampton Kiwanis Club hosts a summer favorite, the Bridgehampton Carnival. Or, for something totally different, signup to play Quidditch with other Harry Potter fans in Quogue. Zoppe Italian Family Circus - Westhampton
Since 1842, The Zoppe Italian Family Circus thrills audiences around the world with its colorful cast of characters. Starring Nino the clown, and featuring acrobatic feats, equestrian showmanship, canine capers, and audience participation. This family circus takes place under a big top tent on the Westhampton Village Green.  

Country Fest Long Island - Riverhead
The Dorothy Flint 4-H Camp is the site for this annual family favorite featuring BBQ, live country music, local vendors, kids events, and dancing. 

Southampton Kiwanis Bridgehampton Carnival - Bridgehampton
Enjoy a mid-summer night filled with carnival rides, cotton candy, and midway games. The Southampton Kiwanis Club hosts this annual event in Sayre Park in Bridgehampton.

Birding For Beginners: Shorebirds Of Shinnecock - Bridgehampton
On this family-friendly South Fork Natural History Museum and Nature Center walk, visit Shinnecock Bay and focus on the shorebirds that populate the region. Learn about plovers, stilts, avocets, oystercatchers, and sandpipers. Be sure to bring along binoculars, scopes, and sunscreen.  

117th Annual Ladies' Village Improvement Society Fair - East Hampton
This East Hampton tradition features a silent auction, vintage clothing, antiques, and special activities for kids including a magic show, play area, and a carousel. 

Kids Club: Cooking Activity - Greenport
The Greenport Farmer's Market hosts a Kids Club that requires pre-registration. Once a month, Kids Club members come together to create a delicious treat from a recipe, and learn about all of the great ingredients available at the Greenport Farmer's Market.

Lodo's Pond Story Time - Bridgehampton
Crystal and her story time puppet, Lodo the River Otter, read aloud a story about the different animals that live in or visit ponds. Make a craft pond to take home, and visit the ponds behind the South Fork Natural History Museum & Nature Center to look for animals in the pond or signs of pond visitors. 

Champagne Cup 2 Quidditch - Quogue
Calling all Harry Potter enthusiasts!  Quidditch is a magical, high-energy, full contact sport, combining rugby, dodgeball, basketball, and tag, which are played on iconic Harry Potter broomsticks. There are over 500 Quidditch teams playing in the United States alone. Come to the VFW in Quogue to ask questions, laugh at the hilarious acts, and to pickup a broom for yourself.  

Parades & Masks - Amagansett
Enjoy a parade of books and create a beautiful mask at the Amagansett Free Library.

Annual Barn Dance - Riverhead
Bring the kids to the Hallockville Museum Farm to experience a traditional barn dance. This event features contra dancing, with music and calling by Chart Guthrie and the Dance All Night Band. Food is available for purchase or bring along a picnic basket.
