These are just a few of our favorite things to do in Connecticut this February—we’re adding more events to our family activity calendar every day.

As February arrives amid falling snow and Valentines celebrations, children across Connecticut are bundling up to enjoy a season that blends love, tradition, and wintertime fun. February brings with it plenty of opportunities for kids to celebrate the biggest day of love during the year, Valentine's! Tickets are selling fast for the Children's Sweetheart Ball at Stepping Stones Museum - an opportunity for kids to put on their fancy duds and come to the museum to enjoy museum-wide activities and music as well as the red carpet!  Fans of the book series "Rubylicious" will be thrilled to hear that the author is coming to Petite Maison for a book reading and signing. Also this month, bring your kids to experience  a very special Fantasia at the Palace Theater in Stamford with LIVE orchestration.

This month is also the celebration of Lunar New Year and the Year of the Horse will be celebrated at the  Lunar New Year  at Connecticut Museum of Culture and History. It's so big it has to be held at a nearby community college!

Please check our calendar every day as we are adding new things all the time, including a lot more Valentine's and February fun!
