Hartford County

Montessori School of Greater Hartford - Hartford
Toddlers are fully immersed in a bilingual environment. Teachers speak only English and teaching assistants speak only Spanish. Many of the classroom materials are in Spanish as well as in English, exposing children to bilingual skills throughout the day.

The Chinese Language School of Greater Hartford - Hartford
The Preschool program is designed for children ages 4 and 5 and their parents. Classes provide a fun and exciting learning environment. According to its website, "each class features a theme and consists of story time, musical activities, games, and arts and crafts." 

DiLoreto Dual Language Magnet School  - New Britain
Offering two pre-K classes, the education here continues until 8th grade. Spanish is used 50 percent of the time, allowing for a completely bilingual experience.

French-American Nursery School - Avon
Though the nursery school is currently closed, tutoring services are available. Choose between after-school French language programs, or lessons designed for students who already speak French at home.

The Chinese Language Academy - New Britain
This program for young learners to teens meets at CCSU. This program has been open since 2005. They teach the language and all about the Chinese culture through folk and fairy tales, poems, and stories as well as dance, martial arts and art. 

German School of Connecticut - West Hartford/Fairfield
Children ages 2 and up will be able to learn German in a friendly environment. The "Flummi" for children ages 1-3 is offered in Stamford only, the preschool is offered in both locations.

New Haven County

Aux 3 Pommes - Guilford/New Haven
Come and learn one of ten languages in a fun environment. Students as young as three are encouraged to join a class. Aux 3 Pommes offers an hour long parent/child class and a summer program as well.  Languages offered include Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, French and more.

Fairfield County

Franc-o-Fun - Wilton
Little ones can come and participate in a toddler class for children ages 3-5.  French is taught through the use of puppets, song, games and rhymes. 

Mencius Mandarin Preschool  - Greenwich
This is a bilingual preschool for children ages 2-5. Not just a class, this is a daily place where preschoolers can go and learn Mandarin and all about the Chinese culture.

The Chinese Language School of Connecticut - Stamford/Greenwich
The CLSC offers classes to children of all ages. Their preschool program is a language immersion program that is divided into two levels of learning. Chopstix 1 is for children ages 3-4 and Chopstix 2 is for children ages 4-5. Students learn Chinese through rhymes and games.

Happy Panda Mandarin School- Wilton
Happy Panda offers a beginning Mandarin class for children as young as 3. They will learn Chinese pronunciation and other basic topics like colors, parts of the body, greetings, etc. Classes are Monday through Friday and meet for one to one and a half hours.

Alliance Francais of Greenwich - Greenwich
Alliance Francais is a non-profit organization which exists throughout the United States.  The Greenwich location offers two playgroups for children ages 3-4 a week. 

LiteraKids - Fairfield
Children can learn French, Spanish, or Chinese in their preschool program.
