Ice cream fanatics rejoice: the Museum of Ice Cream Boston opens December 14, 2024 in the Seaport! Ever dream of jumping into a pool full of sprinkles? Maybe eating every scoop of ice cream you can get your hands on? Well, this is one museum serves up bottomless ice cream alongside interactive stations and wild play spaces. So bring your appetite, because the Museum of Ice Cream is opening for frosty fun in Boston!

Be your own guide at Boston's Museum of Ice Cream. Kids (and parents) can explore themed exhibits and hands-on activities. The museum features over a dozen fun spaces, like a retro diner, the "Hall of Freezers," and a pool filled with a hundred million (antimicrobial, phew!) sprinkles, complete with slide. There is also the creamliner, which replicates the cabin of a jet liner. But the star of the show is the ice cream. with unlimited ice cream treats and an ever-evolving menu of creative concocotions.

Know Before You Go to the Museum of Ice Cream

Here are a few tips to help with your ice cream adventure:

  • Tickets must be purchased in advance; reservations are made by date and time slot.
  • Tickets are only valid for the date and time purchased; there is a 10-minute grace period after which your reservation may be rescheduled.
  • One photo ID per group that matches one ticket must be shown for entry.
  • The experience is designed to take around an hour to an hour and a half.
  • Stroller parking and coat check are available.
